Overview

Bima ya Mwananchi is a medical insurance product from Britam for individuals and families. It offers five shared inpatient benefit options from KES 75,000 to KES 500,000. Optional outpatient cover is available at limits of KES 30,000, KES 50,000 or KES 75,000, subject to the selected inpatient option.

How it works

Choose an inpatient option and the number of people to insure. You can then add optional outpatient cover where available. The estimator adds the applicable inpatient premium to the outpatient premium, if selected, using the premium tables in the supplied brochure. The displayed estimate is not a final insurer quotation.

Fees and charges

The brochure lists premiums by inpatient option and number of members. Outpatient premiums depend on the outpatient limit, member count and the main applicant age band shown in the brochure. Confirm the final premium and payment terms directly with Britam before applying.
